Things to Do This Weekend - 2/18 – 2/19 Edition

There’s a list of just a couple things worth checking out this weekend in PDX. All are kid friendly and either free or a good value for the money. Given we are expecting a normal wet and chilly February forecast I stuck to indoor events.

Family Day at the Oregon Maritime Museum Free day at the Museum Saturday, February 18, activities from 10 AM4 PM.Families are invited to discover Portland's maritime history with a craft project to take home. Museum Family Saturdays, on the third Saturday of every month, are free to families with children under 18.”

Family Day at the Oregon Historical Society Free day at the Museum Saturday, February 18, activities from 11 AM3 PM.Be one of the first to visit Bittersweet Harvest: The Bracero Program, 1942–1964, a bilingual exhibit created by the Smithsonian. Children will love to take a swing at our piñata at noon, and then enjoy a tasty cupcake to celebrate Oregon’s birthday week!”

Gluten-free Tasting Extravaganza Free event at the Whole Foods Market Tanasbourne February 19th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. “Vendors, new products, and samples, oh my! Join us to taste some wonderful products and see how removing Gluten from your diet is not as hard as it may seem.”

Need more ideas check the link farm to the left under Frugal Things To Do.

Frugally Yours-
